Canvas & Canvas . My Room

Canvas & Canvas are thrilled to have formed a partnership with My Room, supporting the kids at the Children's Cancer Centre (CCC) at the Royal Children's Hospital.

All funds raised by My Room are used to assist the CCC in it's operational and research endeavours. My Room has minimal overheads thanks to a voluntary committee and pro bono partners which allows them to provide significant funding to the CCC.

Canvas & Canvas will be working with My Room to supply the kids with art supplies as well as running a series of art based events throughout 2012 and beyond. Every artwork sold by Canvas & Canvas will help contribute to this fantastic cause.

My Room was established over 20 years ago with the desire to improve the physical environment of the ward, the day chemotherapy unit and the out-patient areas of the CCC and to create an environment that childhood cancer patients and their families could call "my room". Although My Room has grown into much more today, Canvas & Canvas hopes to continue this original spirit of the My Room cause in our ongoing contribution.
